The funnel always needs to be full, and one of the best ways to do this is by implementing key marketing strategies. Many people forget this when they get busy with existing clients. For most solopreneurs their key marketing tools consist of business cards, post/rack card, website, ezine/enewsletters and blogs. If you are just in start-up mode you may not be using all of these tools yet; as you grow you will want to be reaching your target market using as many marketing strategies that will attract the right clients to you. It's not the fact that you provide a home staging service. This is what you do. This is not the result the client gets by using your home staging service. Take a look at all your marketing materials. Have you indicated what the RESULTS are that your clients – realtors, home sellers, builders, etc. will get by hiring your company? Does your company have a great tag line that talks about the results? Find new ways of looking at what you have to offer as a home stager. FOCUS ON RESULTS and you will be impressed at the difference that you really do make when a client hires you. Start listening to other people who are trying to attract you as a client.
