Thinking of selling in the near future and you need to stage your home? Or, are you a realtor and you know your client's home needs staging?
Just moved into your new home and you're too tired to set it up?
Think you can't afford to have a professional
do this? THINK AGAIN!
We teach a 5 Day Professional Accredited Home Staging & Design course. There are three classroom teaching days and two "real client's homes". The training homes are treated as any other client's home and overseen by professional instructors who have years of experience in home staging and redesign.
As part of the practicum, we need 'real client's homes just like yours to become part of our program. These are called "TRAINING HOMES".
Just being newly married it was a real challenge bringing our two households together in a unique way that would identify us both and become a blended family space. Dana and her team did such a wonderful job in blending our individual bits and pieces together to create new atmosphere to old spaces. It was a touch of brilliance how they took a seemly nice piece and turned it into a spectacular piece merely by clustering it or showing it off in the most effective way. We love the new look they created by taking our own art and positioning what we already had. The family room is especially comfortable and cozy with its new seating arrangement...a cozy place to gather and hang out. Our breakfast nook feels like a piece of Tuscany. We really enjoy the creative touches that Dana and her team pulled together and we have since added our own little touches to continue the themes that they inspired.

You must meet the following criteria:
Your home needs to be more than 1500 square feet and have 3 different rooms that we can work in for the day
You need enough of your own furniture that we can rearrange it to create better traffic flow and more balance + harmony in your rooms. On occasion we may work with vacant homes and use rental furnishings as part of the practicum.
For a Move-In-Redesign your art, your collections and your treasures will be beautifully displayed and showcased to reflect your personal style in your home. For a Staging training home you may be given homework where you are required to prepack your personal items and collection. We may also recommend paint colours during our initial consultation. Our goal is to create the 'right look' for your target market using your things.
You must be 'open' to having up to 10 students in your home for the day – we arrive at 9 am and finish up between 4 & 5 pm
Dana and her students completed a major unbelievable transformation to help me get my client's house ready for selling. The client was working on some renovations while the team worked around the chaos of lumber, carpet, paint and trades people. Their positive attitude greatly contributed to the finished product – a beautifully staged home. The kitchen sparkles, the master bedroom is a WOW , the dining room inviting, and the placement of furniture works to showcase the architectural detail in the home. I highly recommend considering offering this training home special to your client's for getting a property 'Open House Ready!

We will come out and do a one hour consultation with you to determine what needs to be done before we come in to do the actual hands-on staging in your home.
During that time we let you know what 'homework' you have if any before we come back and do the actual hands on home makeover
The day of the home makeover we bring in up to 10 students and we typically do 3 rooms - living, family, dining and/or entranceway
When you return at the end of the day and you get to act just like they do on television when we do 'the Reveal' of your new look!
We look for Training Homes for our courses in the Vancouver Area, Kelowna, Victoria and Calgary.
Engaging Dana to stage our house to be market-ready was an investment that reaped huge benefits. For myself, Dana reduced my stress levels to manageable levels (we were in the midst of an international relocation), suggested practical and affordable changes to our home, and knew all the best places to shop for the furnishings to add the final finishing touches. A return visit from our Real Estate agent once the decorating was complete realized an increase in market value of $50,000. Our house sold within two weeks! Today, in our new home, I continue to enjoy all the beautiful furnishings Dana chose. I wish I had invested time and money in Dana's expertise sooner so I could have enjoyed the wonderful changes we made to our Vancouver home while we lived there.

Dana and her students had done a fabulous home makeover for us last year and now we were moving upstairs into a larger space. I just knew it would save me so much time, money and energy to have her students back to move us in. Well you would think I wouldn't be surprised again but yes I was! The furniture set up is just great and my son's play room was something we didn't even think of. He loves it and shows it to everyone who comes in! My mother-in-law says the art always looks fantastic because of the way you group things. The family photo wall is really expanding and is ready for some new baby photos. I love the new look and now I get to enjoy it after being in our new home for only a few days. Awesome - I can't recommend being a training home enough!
